Omega Rugal Coming To Terrorize A N

The King of Fighters is known for having cheap, oppressive bosses that take advantage of players at the end of the game's arcade mode, and SNK is bringing back one of the series' most infamous bosses.

Starting April 14, Omega Rugal will be revived in The King of Fighters XV as free DLC available to any owner of the game. You can check out the trailer below which debuted as part of the Japan Fighting Game Editors Roundtable that took place last night. Fast, ruthless, Rugal won't hesitate to portray defenseless characters with barely a few pixels of life.

Along with the addition of Omega Rugal is the introduction of Boss Challenge, a new mode that tests players' skills against an upgraded version of Rugal. In it, Omega Rugal wears a classy new jacket with armored shoulder pads and gloves that can be worn by any player strong enough to face this retro menace.

You can try to "vanquish the nightmare" in The King of Fighters XV on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC when the DLC comes out in a few weeks. The full game itself, including the newly released Team Garou character pack, is available now.
